As I continue to uncover material dealing with my Morin ancestors, I couldn’t help but copy the following deed of land from Betsy Powell to Antoine Morin in 1854. Babin

Claire and I spent some time with a friend of mine called Pat Babin. I met him here in Kemptville and we have been friends for the past 14 years I think. Claire did some digging and his name turns out on the same plaque has our acadian ancestors. Same area. Such a small world.
